St Mungo’s provides a bed and support to more than 3,150 people a night who are either homeless or at risk of homelessness. Our vision is that everyone has a place to call home and can fulfil their hopes and ambitions.

Story

On Tuesday 9th June I will be attempting to complete the Three Peaks Challenge...from home...(climbing the highest mountain in each of England, Scotland and Wales in 24 hours) on the two flights of stairs in my house, in memory of my Aunty Carole (known as Carole Chant / Carole Finer to others) who sadly passed away to the Coronavirus in March and to raise money for a charity she was a big supporter of.

Starting at 6am I'll have to go up and down the 31 stairs in my house a  total of 550 times (going up and down counts as 1, not 2)!

The charity I am raising money for is the St Mungo's homelessness charity, a charity Aunty Carole supported; they provide support and a bed to nearly 3,000 homeless people every single night. With 90% of rough sleepers in the UK currently in safe accommodation during the Covid-19 pandemic, it shows homelessness is not inevitable, and supporting charities such as St Mungo's will help to one day end homelessness.

Any donation (no matter how much) is massively appreciated. Thank you all so much!
