Transplant Sport is a registered charity whose main aim is to raise awareness of the need for organ donation. We organise sports and social events for transplant recipients to improve health and well being whilst actively promoting organ donation.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In 2002 I received a life changing kidney transplant courtesy of a donor on the UK NHS organ donor register.

In 2004 I took part in my first British Transplant Games. As a result of my ongoing success in badminton and volleyball,  I have been selected to represent the GB & N.I. team at the 2017 World Transplant Games, Malaga, Spain

The World Games were created to promote the amazing benefits of organ transplantation and raise awareness of the constant need for organ donors worldwide.

To participate in Malaga, each selected GB & N.I. Team competitor has been asked to raise £1500 to cover the cost of accommodation, travel, kit, training, etc.

Any support that you can give, however small, will be gratefully received and help to promote organ donation and the life changing benefits of transplantation.

Many thanks for your support,

Tim
