Tough Mudder London South 2016 · 24 September 2016 to 25 September 2016 ·

Someone is diagnosed with blood cancer in the UK every 20 minutes, and many will need a blood stem cell transplant for a second chance at life. We are committed to increasing the number of potential blood stem cell donors in the UK, so that there is a donor for everyone who needs one.

Story

The picture above is of Kai.  Kai was diagnosed with leukemia when he was just 2 years old.

Kai was in hospital for 8 months, had chemotherapy, transfusion after transfusion and in August 2015 was lucky enough to get a donor match.  The next big operation was a bone marrow transplant.  Today, Kai is 3 year old, his hair has grown back and he has taken the donor bone marrow well.  His blood type has changed completely and is that of a female now.  He is well on the way to a cancer free diagnosis.

Unfortunately, Kara's story is not uncommon so please help us raise funds to delete blood cancer.
