Two years ago I completed my first Ironman in 14 hrs 10 minutes (see pic). That's a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride, and a full marathon ... 10,000 calories, 8 bananas, several litres of water and energy drink, more gels and energy bars than I like to remember, and handfuls of glorious Mini Cheddars, followed by the best pizza I've ever tasted at the finish.
This year I'm racing the legendary OUTLAW, and I'm aiming to complete in under 13 hours. For this ex-fat bloke, that'll be good!
