We Born Too Soon to make the experience the best it can be.

Story

As some of you may know, we lost our baby girl in 2009 late in pregnancy.  It was a very traumatic time and I wanted to dedicate fundraising efforts to supporting those unfortunate enough to encounter a similar situation or have sick children.  I am therefore raising money this year for the Kingston Hospital Born Too Soon Fund, for their unit that looks after sick and premature babies.

Since our loss my wife and I were lucky enough to go on and have two beautiful children and the experience has certainly given me perspective on what really matters in life.

I know some of you have been kind enough to support my efforts in previous years.  Over that time I also encountered an organisation called, Always with a Smile.  The aims of this organisation really resonated with me so I am proud to also run on their behalf, these aims are:

1) To inspire and motivate people to do something they have never done before

2) To raise money for multiple charities and good causes

3) To make the world a happier place by putting a smile on the face of as many people as possible.

It's for these reasons you may see/hear about me doing multiple crazy challenges - usually involving miles of running, mud, and army/ninja warrior style obstacles - wearing a variety of ridiculous outfits. Please see my updates below for embarrassing pics!

This year I intend to carry on with these aims and will be running somewhere in the region of 50-100 km of obstacle racing challenges in 2016, all in a variety of colourful and movement restricting costumes! (again - see below or check out any of my previous year's fundraising if you want to see me looking ridiculous for a good cause)

Some of these challenges are extremely tough (and painful) but I hope you'll support me in raising money for those born, too small, too sick, or too soon and maybe one or two of you will be inspired to join the 'Always with a Smile' ethos.

Thank you, your support means so much.

Tim
