I am running the BBCHM and then with my wife Angela the Halesowen 5k the following day !! Our daughter Poppy has Familial Hypercholesterolaemia (FH). It's an inherited condition that leads to extremely high levels of cholesterol, maybe 3 or 4 times the norm. It used to be a killer but now is controlled by statins. However amazing
new treatment, which Poppy is just trialing (only 5 people in the UK doing it) actually makes the good genes work harder to overcome the faulty one. I think that's really special and shows that raising money for research produces amazing results for millions of people. So your money will make a real difference
