Story
Tim Burgoyne was diagnosed with bowel cancer on the 31st March 2008. By that time, the cancer had already spread to his liver, lymph nodes and lungs. Despite his poor prognosis, including the progression of the cancer to his brain, Tim outlived even the most optimistic of predictions. Part of this was the result of the many surgeries, and rounds of chemotherapy and radiotherapy he underwent. However, equally responsible for his longevity was his positivity and strength of character, which he maintained for the seven and a half years following his diagnosis.
Tim sadly lost his fight against cancer on 20th October 2015.
I am so proud of everything he has achieved, I will always be proud to call him my Dad!
He was a fantastic Husband, Father, Grandfather and friend.
