Thanks for taking the time to visit my page - I really do appreciate that you've made a choice to be here :-).

So, just under a year ago, my Step Mum was diagnosed with dystonia and quickly seeing how it's affected her and finding out that there's no cure, I wanted to do something to try to put a smile back on her face by supporting the people who make the things happen which make a massive difference - the amazing folk at The Dystonia Society.

I love running, so wanted to do something to convert the miles in to pounds. After a year of events in 2016, it's a case of 'so far, so good' but that was only phase 1.... I want to raise more funds!

There are loads more miles in the tank and this challenge is all about the next 26.2 miles and the £2,600 that making it over that finish line will raise for the Society.

Up to race day, I'll be banging on your doors to support me in any way you can & thanks to my lovely workmates and colleagues, we're already off the ground after a delicious bake sale raised over £200 (here's hoping we get that £ matched!).

The cakes were ace but not the best for my race-belly...
