On Saturday  24th August (weather permitting), Tim Pocklington, of John Pocklington & Son will be participating in a sponsored wing walk at Breighton Aerodrome in Yorkshire to raise funds for Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance Charitable Trust.

This is a charity close to Tim, and the company's heart- John Pocklington & Son has always maintained a great admiration for the military services and aviation as a whole, with one of the fleet named after
Squadron Leader George Leonard "Johnny" Johnson, MBE, a retired Royal Air Force officer who is the last surviving original member of No. 617 Squadron RAF and of Operation Chastise, the "Dambusters" raid of 1943, and another of the fleet is named Dambuster.

Tim wishes to raise funds for Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance as he believes with so much happening on the roads in rural areas today, our emergency services need to be supported by this invaluable resource which receives no Government funding, and wanted to carry on the aviation theme.
