On the 11th of September 2014 i was devastated to hear that someone had deliberately set fire to the Manchester Dogs' home killing over 60 dogs. After just getting two dogs Simon & Benson I could not believe someone would do such a thing! 

I want to do something to raise some money for a good cause such as the Manchester Dogs' home which take in and care for over 7000 dogs a year. Since this year i have become really interested in cycling and feel like i can make these two passions meet this summer by cycling over 850 miles through 5 countries for charity.

I will be cycling between 70 - 90 miles per day for 11 days using https://www.warmshowers.org/ and https://www.couchsurfing.com/ to find places to stay.

My journey will begin in Calais on the 1st of August 2015 after getting the ferry from Dover. From there i will cycle across France, Belgium, down through Germany and Luxembourg and back up to the north of France.
