Story

This time of year I'm normally busy organising the Hitchin Hard Half Marathon (see above)  Not this year.

As you know numerous fundraising events have been cancelled due to Coronavirus, with an estimate that the UK charity sector will lose £4 billion in income this year as a result of the pandemic.

My challenge is slowly coming together .... 26 times round the house circuit means:

1,560 stairs/steps = 160m up and down; -total distance 3.2Km; -plus 1 minute on the exercise bike per circuit.  Any other ideas.?

Please stick a tenner in the pot.

We have so far had to cancel two of our biggest fundraisers this year; the Spirit of Hitchin Gin Festival and the Hard Half Marathon. This means the Club Trust Fund will lose out on generating around £12,500 this year.  This will severely limit our vital work and support for organisations working with the Hitchin community in these areas: food poverty, mental health, social isolation

..So I've decided to my bit to fill the pot...every tenner helps.
