The Woodland Trust is the UK's leading woodland conservation charity who creates, protects and cares for woodland across the UK. We are working hard to create a UK rich in native woods and trees, for people and wildlife. But we can't do this alone. We can't achieve our vision without you.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

I think I am destined to die somewhere on the South Downs one year soon but if I make it this year it will be my 27th triumph in 30 attempts. For many recent years I had been looking forward to my 25th completion as I thought that would be my time to quit but one thing led to another and here I am again!!

This year we are delighted to be supporting the Woodland Trust (WT) who go around planting trees and I love trees. They are planting a whole new forest in Leicestershire which will be dedicated to the Queen's Jubilee in June and we will have contributed a few acres of this wood. Although I would be unctiously grateful for even a small donation, for £20 those nice people at WT will send you a certificate of dedication for your very own tree and for £25 it will be framed.

As an alternative, why not walk yourself. Think of the good it will do you!
