Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As some of you may know I've shipped myself off to Malawi and have been volunteering as a doctor at the Billy's Memorial Trust Clinic in Cape Maclear. The clinic set up by Mags Riordan has made a huge impact on the lives of the people here, providing primary care medical services to the local population since 2004 when at the time there was no direct medical treatment available.

The clinic has come such a long way and all funding has been based on donations and the hard work of the management team. Check out their website here:

Malawi truly is the warm heart of Africa. I've been so lucky to have been able to work with such caring friendly people that I'd like to give a little bit more. I've always wanted to run a marathon and what better way to say goodbye to the UK than with a final run through the streets I used to live!

Any donation big or small is appreciated and goes directly to the running of the charity. I've experienced first hand what the clinic can do and believe me, a little can go a long way!

See you at the finish line! (You may find me on the floor)
