i am shaving all 14" of my hair for beyond ourselves and locks of love.

The charity beyond ourselves is a charity based in zambia. the charity partners with four community schools in Zambia to help bring much needed education, nutrition and basic medical care to the orphans and vulnerable children in those communities. i like this charity because it help educate children which i think is the basic for a country to escape poverty.

My hair is being donated to Locks of Love. it is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the United States and Canada under age 21 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis. they meet a unique need for children by using donated hair to create the highest quality hair prosthetics. Most of the children helped by Locks of Love have lost their hair due to a medical condition called alopecia areata, which has no known cause or cure. The prosthesis they provide help to restore their self-esteem and their confidence, enabling them to face the world and their peers.

£12.50 will provide a child for a month with a meal every school day, a new school uniform, paying school teachers salaries, paying the cooks feeding program, purchasing ongoing school resources, basic medical care
