I know that some of you will find it hard to believe that I am going to be 50 this year!!!!

As my birthday is in November I thought that this would be quite an apt thing to do and a real challenge - and before you ask NO I had'nt been drinking when I registered for it.

What I want to do is make this year count for something other than my fast approaching middle age and the spread that comes with it.

Those of you who know me well know I am a shopper not a runner so the marathon was out of the question - so after watch them doing on Daybreak and after Biggest Loser I thought in for a penny in for a pound and if they can do so can I (bravdo ******).

So please dig deep and help me to raise at least £200 for this worthwhile charity in my senior moment  and if your free on Friday 26th April 2013  At 8pm the Firewalk will begin!

There are no tricks or special effects just me and the other brave soles (did you notice the play on words) and the 15ft path of red-hot embers!!!!!
