Story

This year I am running the London Marathon.

My chosen charity is The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital.

I was diagnosed at the age of 7 with Perthes disease of the right hip. This eventually lead me to have a hip replacement at the age of 27 (May 1999). I had a 18 month old son and the hospital gave me all the support I needed at a stressful time. This is my way to thank them for their help. Without this treatment I wouldn’t have lived the life I have and been able to run around with my son. My treatment is still ongoing.

This is a huge task for me which I am determined to complete so any donations would be massively appreciated.
