Ice Swim Challenge 2015 for the Starfish Pool Appeal · 1 February 2015

The Starfish Pool Appeal is raising £1 million to build a hydrotherapy swimming pool at Claremont Secondary School in Bristol. The children at Claremont School have complex physical and learning disabilities. The pool will hugely benefit them and other disabled children in Bristol.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

For the past few years I have been busy organising events and fundraising for the Starfish Pool Appeal.  Our aim is to raise over £1 million pounds to build a new hydrotherapy pool at the secondary school site so that the disabled children who attend the school and other disabled children across Bristol can benefit from the amazing effects of swimming in a warm hydrotherapy pool.

So...I am doing the extreme opposite of hydrotherapy by joining a team of mad people to take part in a one mile ice swim!  The swim will take place on 8th February 2015 at  Cromhall Quarry.

Please support our challenge by giving generously we are nearly there, just £ 140,000 to go!

Many thanks, Tina
