Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I was diagnosed with CLL in 2009 and only became ill with it in 2013. I was grateful to be put on new medication as part of a drug trial which has proved very effective. My blood counts soon returned to normal and have stayed that way. I am keen to support CLLSA as many people like myself are very anxious when they are first diagnosed and the Support Association is able to offer a helpline, information study days, literature and buddy support. I have been a keen runner in the past but due to a back problem will be walking this 10K in London. However I am quite a fast walker and my daughter Hazel will be running on ahead of me.
