Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Raising money for The Evelina Children's Hospital would mean a lot to me as it is in memory of my baby Benjamin, who died at Guy's in 2000 aged only 4 weeks old.  I would like to donate money to the hospital to help continue its improvements to help save lives and to provide the best possible care.  I would like other families to continue recieving the help and support that was provided for Benjamin to try to save his life and to experience the ongoing support that has been given to myself.  Since then a new Evelina Hospital has been built at St Thomas' Hospital to replace the one at Guy's.  The photo on this page is of a memorial to remember and honour babies and children who died at the old Evelina Hospital and this was funded by the Charity.

Carol Misch said of her design: “The glass evokes a strong yet ethereal presence. Each column represents a child and each has a fractured edge – something broken – and in its core a DNA spiral, a symbol of eternal life.”

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you for any money that you donate to this special cause.
