Virgin London Marathon 2016 · 24 April 2016 ·

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page.

I am running the London Marathon in aid of The Princes Trust, a fantastic organization that specializes in helping struggling youngsters between
the ages of 13 - 30 to turn their lives around. Many of the young people helped by the Trust are in or leaving care, facing issues such as homelessness or mental health problems, or have been in trouble with the law.

Initially founded in the 1970's, the Princes Trust is now approaching its 40th anniversary and has in total reached out to more than 825,000 young people with three in four achieving a positive outcome – moving into education, employment or training.

Please follow the following link to access further information on the
history of The Princes Trust & their continued efforts to better the future
prospects of so many struggling or disadvantaged youngsters:

Having come from a privileged background myself, I felt that this would be a great opportunity to give something back to the community as well
as setting myself a personal challenge for 2016. My target time is sub 4 hours & I have set myself a goal to raise over £3000. Any contributions towards this figure and any support on the day will be greatly appreciated & I hope to see you at the finish line!
