Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In March, I am cycling to every ATC Squadron in Dorset and Wiltshire (a distance of over 300 miles) in 4 days in order to raise money for the John Thornton's Young Achievers Foundation (JTYAF). John Thornton was an ex-cadet from 2358 (Ferndown) Squadron who went on to join the Royal Marines. He was tragically killed in March 2008 in Afghanistan. The foundation was set up to honour his life by providing bursaries for young people from a variety of backgrounds to help achieve their dreams. Find out more at http://www.jtyaf.org/.

About the charity

The objective of the John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation is to encourage and assist young people to 'climb as high as they can dream', by providing annual scholarships and bursaries for their training and personal development in the pursuit of their ambitions.
