Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Myself and 10 others are walking the Coastal Path around the Isle of Wight during the second week of October. The total distance is 68 miles or 107 kilometres.

I am doing this to raise money for Alec's Angels.

Alec's Angels is a charity that helps families that find themselves in a similar situation that my friend Brian found himself in in 2010. The photograph at the top of the page shows Brian with his son Alec before he was diagnosed with a brain tumour. He died when he was just nine and his final wish was to put a smile on the faces of the people he met in hospital.

Brian set up Alec's Angels to give help and support in a range of practical ways in order to help families cope, and even create happy memories, whilst their child is going through treatment after being diagnosed with cancer or another life threatening disease.
