Story

When I forgot to get my hair cut in September 2020 and Lockdown set in, I made a flippant remark about growing my hair and donating it to a charity for a wig.

It's been a long journey but hair we are. It's finally time!

I will be cutting these beautiful ringlets before Xmas and donating them to The Little Princess Trust and I'm hoping to raise a bit of cash as well.

Oh, and if I can raise £5k, I will also shave and polish my head.

(I'm planning to keep the facial hair as it keeps my face warm in winter.)

Future Dreams is raising funds to support women through their breast cancer journey. FD works on a number of campaigns to create awareness and fund research projects, with a main focus on secondary breast cancer. Over 50,000 people are diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK every year, the equivalent of one person every 10 minutesaccording to Breast Cancer Care. To date Future Dreams has raised over £5m pledging funds towards the charitiesthree aims - support, awareness and research, focusingon secondary breast cancer.
