Enabling people to move on from homelessness, providing work and a home in a supportive family environment. Companions, as our residents are known, work full time collecting and reselling donated goods. This work supports the Community financially and develops skills for the Companions

Story

Hi, thanks for taking the time to visit my page.

I’m running the Cheltenham Half Marathon for Emmaus Village Carlton – a
really great homelessness charity which is close to my heart. I work there, and
so every day I get to see first-hand, the huge difference it is making to
people who have experienced homelessness. Emmaus gives people the chance to
turn their lives around – it gives them hope for the future.

After running the Birmingham 10k in aid of Emmaus in April, I
have now decided to double the pain (and hopefully the funds) by undertaking
this new challenge.

Please donate what you can. All money raised goes towards
providing a home and meaningful work to formerly homeless individuals.

Thanks so much for your support!
