I'm attempting to make the step up from half marathon to a full marathon this year and in the process raise as much money as I can for St.Barnabas house hospice. 

Two years ago they looked after my Nan and gave her dignity and comfort in last days of her life. The staff were incredible and the whole place is warm and comforting. Nan was there much longer than we expected and celebrated her 93rd birthday there with all the family, laughing and enjoying those moments all together. We could come and go anytime, day or night and I spent a whole night there just sitting quietly holding Nan's hand. I will be forever grateful to the staff for making me welcome and giving me that memory.

This is a cause that really does deserve support as they genuinely make some of the saddest times bearable. 

Please give what you can and help another family receive the kindness and generosity that we did.
