The 1K Beach Challenge Day · 27 September 2019

Surfers Against Sewage (SAS) is a charity set up in 1990 by people sick of seeing the ocean they love polluted. We campaign to protect the ocean and all it makes possible, by taking action on the ground that triggers change from the top. We're calling for an end to sewage and plastic pollution.

Story

We'll (Tom & Jo from Sea Swim Cornwall) attempt to swim 1km on as many beaches in Cornwall, as possible in one day (daylight hours-ish). We'll look to go a k-or-2 further than last years 20km challenge. Starting at Harlyn Bay we'll travel south across the North coast. We're looking to attempt the swim on Friday 27th Sept.

The SAS is a charity very close to both of our hearts and we'd love to assist them in continuing their valuable work.
