Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My beautiful niece, Hana, aged 6 years old, was diagnosed with Rett syndrome in 2014.
Rett syndrome is a rare neurological disorder affecting mainly females. It remains undetected until major regression occurs in the first 24 months, when children start losing acquired skills such as speech and movement in their hands and legs and they can become withdrawn.
This means that Hana cannot talk to us or use her hands to communicate, play or feed herself. The only way Hana can communicate with us is through her eyes. People with Rett syndrome have profound and multiple physical and communication disabilities
and are totally reliant on others for support throughout the rest of their lives. It is one of the most devastating neurological syndromes affecting young children. It affects approximately 1 in 12,000 girls born each year.
Please help me raise money for this charity which is dedicated to supporting those affected by Rett syndrome and their families.
My immense thanks to all of you for your support to this important and amazing charity.
