Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

By supporting me you will be hugely helping a small charity that does tremendous working in giving ongoing support to people who have suffered from a stroke. My godmother, Viv Bourne, was one of the founders of Success After Stroke (SAS) and she and the other volunteers have been supporting the people of East Anglia since the charity was formed in the 2000.

The funding will go towards supporting a team of professionally qualified therapists who provide individual and group therapy sessions. It also goes towards supporting a group of dedicated and experienced volunteers who assist the professional team, as well as facilitating the social side of Success After Stroke. Specific support for stroke suffers includes physiotherapy, speech and language therapy, mental well-being therapy, and other social activities such as art, swimming and pottery.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and for all your support. SAS will be hugely grateful!
