Unfortunately the Beccles triathlon didn't happen for me due to a moany hamstring. I'm still working hard though......

Living just south of Norwich I see the East Anglian Air Ambulance on it's journeys all too frequently. It's one of those services we all hope we never require, but would be very grateful for if needed. 

The Lap of Anglia started in 2013 and raised over £10,000. This year it's aiming bigger and I couldn't resist the urge to be part of that. Cycling 400 miles in 4 days, on the 13th to 16th August, through our beautiful East Anglian countryside whilst raising money for a very worth while cause.

An average mission to rescue someone costs the EAAA £2250.  Any amount of money you can part with, however small, would be gratefully received by the EAAA, and will help spur me on when the training gets tough! 

Over the next 5 months I shall be spending as much time on my bike as possible to strengthen the legs, and toughen up the other parts! I'm also doing the Beccles Triathlon, and the Culford Triathlon as part of my training, as if just riding wasn't enough.
