Story
I am raising money for Ickle Pickles as a small token of how grateful we are to the neonatal intensive care unit at King's, for everything they did for my youngest daughter Isla.
Isla experienced brain injury when she was born, and underwent three days of therapeutic hypothermia. It is thanks to previous fundraising efforts we were lucky enough to have access to such specialist treatment, which undoubtedly has made all the difference to Isla's prognosis.
The Ickle Pickles Children's Charity aims to give every newborn a chance. They turn gifts from generous people like you into specialised equipment, such as incubators and ventilators, to help Neonatal Units provide incredible levels of care to very sick babies. Raising money for this charity is the least I can do to show our unbelievable gratitude to everything King's neonatal care did for my daughter, and continue to do for others in this challenging time.
