Tom's TMWF Dorset Walk

Tom McInally is raising money for The Malcolm Whales Foundation

TMWF Dorset Walk · 9 July 2021

Story

Malcom Whales lost his battle with cancer in 2008. In reply, TMWF was created to continue the fight.

This foundation started with a bunch of kids from my school doing a sponsored walk in 2009 - it has since raised nearly £300,000, all of which has been used to support cancer wards in the UK.

TMWF is different because it does not donate money, it identifies equipment that a hospital needs and purchases it directly. So all money that is raised in Malcom Whales' name is not lost, it makes a difference and has saved lives.

My team made me do zumba last year, whilr deployed in the desert, offering up a generous donation. This year I am joining the Dorset Walk for the first time, raising money through TMWF's flagship event - the same one that started with a 30 kids in 2009. This year, there will be hundreds.

Those from my hometown know this event. Everyone worldwide knows the fight. Please donate, you too will be saving lives. 🙏
