We help and support UK families to find the best in Angelman Syndrome.

Story

Angelman syndrome is a genetic disorder tat mainly affects the nervous system. symptoms include a small head and specific facial appearance, severe intellectual disability, development disability, speech problems, balance and movement problems, seizures and sleep problems.

Harry is an angel and was diagnosed at 2years old with AS, he is the happiest child we have ever met and although up against daily challenges he always tackles everything from scratch , no movement is a natural one, whether it be holding a spoon, pressing a button, sitting up or even crawling. Nothing has come naturally to Harry but he hasn't let this stop him doing these things. Every day he surprises us and we are so proud of what he has achieved.

ASSERT are a fabulous charity who offered Liam, Carys and the family so much support since receiving Harry's diagnosis and we would love to raise some money to give something back and help them promote the syndrome along with raising funds for further research .

We will cycle 92 miles over 2 days and stop at different points to raise awareness of the syndrome
