I have been lucky enough to work with them in my role as Kent Union President over the past year. Kent Air Ambulance are one of the only Air Ambulance services in the South-East and save lives where no others could. Their response/success rate underlines their importance. On July 12th (less than a month ago) I fractured and sprained my ankle. For a long time I have wanted to go on holiday (not been away since 2005). I decided recently that I wanted to take on a challenge and raise money for such a great cause rather than sit on a beach for a week.I found out about the Camino De Santiago and thought it would be a once in a lifetime opportunity.

More importantly I wanted to prove that impossible is only an opinion, not a fact...I was told I should have planned and trained for this for 6 months; I booked it this morning and came off the zimmerframe last week.

Nothing is impossible.
