Tom's Ten Length Challenge · 11 March 2013

We’re the world’s leading independent conservation organisation. And we’re building a future where people and nature thrive together. That’s why we’re passionate about sharing the planet’s resources more sustainably, tackling climate change and protecting endangered wildlife.

Story

I love animals and I want to help protect snow leopards. I got a WWF snow leopard adoption pack for my birthday but I want to do more. I love Deadly 60 and am inspired by Steve Backshall so I decided to set myself a challenge. I'm 6 years old and on Saturday 6th April I'm going to swim 10 lengths in 30 minutes without swimming aids. I hope you will sponsor me and help protect incredible snow leopards and their habitat too.

WWF say £60 could pay for 10 torches to help snow leopard monitoring (snow leopards are mostly active at night).

WWF say £120 could pay for the initial training for a community-based anti-poaching patrol.
