The Mater foundation are hosting a charity event in the Helix next Friday 10/11/2017 called the Oskars

The primary purpose is to raise money to improve facilities for families of critically ill patients who are brought in to the hospital.
The hardworking committee and actors have gone to great lengths to put together 7 fantastic short videos, mimicking famous movies and TV episodes such as The Shawshank Redemption, Forest Gump, Father Ted, and Fawlty towers. For my part, I have gone in to Mountjoy prison, been on the roof of the Whitty building, and crawled out of a real drainage pipe.
I would be very grateful if you could sponsor me whatever you can afford. Though I know we all tend to get charity fatigue, I would appeal to you that this is an excellent cause.The movie with the most sponsorship wins the Oskar for best movie so naturally we are competitive about it!
