Dear friends and family,

This festive season, instead of receiving your kind and thoughtful gifts - I ask that you make a special donation (as a gift to me) to Battersea Dogs and Cat's home.

As you all know, Gavin and I care passionately about the welfare of our furry four legged friends. Sadly we can't bring them all home to live with us, but I can donate all of my Christmas gifts to this wonderful charity to help with the rehoming, medical care and rehabilitation of dogs that are not as fortunate as Snoopy and Clyde.

Battersea Dogs and Cats home receives no government funding, and rely completely on the generosity and fundraising of others. Your donation would help to pay for the vital day-to-day care and rehabilitation of around 300 hundred dogs currently living in the shelters, and allow them the second chance they deserve to help find their forever homes.

• £25.00 - Could help pay for a full course of antibiotics to help nurse four sick dogs back to health
• £50.00 - Will buy home comforts, such as bedding for each new animal arriving at the home - helping them to feel comfortable whilst they wait to find their new families
• £100.00 - would pay for ten ill dogs to have a soothing medicated bath - easing the skin of those suffering from painful skin conditions
• £200.00 - Would help pay for a sick dog to receive around-the-clock care from one of the dedicated veterinary nurses
• £600.00 - This is the average cost per dog during their stay at Battersea. This includes care, food, training, rehabilitation and any medical treatment they require
• £1'250.00 - Covers the cost of hand rearing seven puppies over a six week period who no longer have their mother to feed them. This would pay for special puppy formula, foster mums, a heated bed, toys and treats and all the medical care they require.
