Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
It has now been over 2 years since my wife Debbie passed away devastating me and the whole of her family. Debbie was a very healthy and energetic young lady who enjoyed life to the full. We were married on the 12 September 2015 and had many plans for our life together, we went on honeymoon in July 2016 to Norway and Debbie also celebrated her 49th birthday. On the 13th August she became ill with symptoms of pneumonia and was taken to hospital, on the 14th she was taken to ICU because of the difficulties with her breathing and very high temperatures, on the morning of the 15th August she was put onto a ventilator, her last words to me were, “when I wake up I will be better”, words that I will never forget. On the evening of the 15th Debbie passed away leaving a very broken family. They said her death was caused by ARDS part of that being Sepsis. Our lives will never be the same again.
On 3rd September 2017, Debbie's Dad Malcolm and her brothers Russell
and Richard, and myself, took part in a fundraising cycle ride from Gloucester to Birmingham arriving at midday in Birmingham.
Between us we raised over £3,000 helping towards the total of £16,000 from everyone that took part on the day. It was a great achievement by all that took part and of course their sponsors, as that amount could not have been achieved without them.
- Many thanks to you all from myself, Debbie and our families
I have just recently started an online business with Norwex which is a company that specialises in improving the quality of life without chemicals.
I have decided to set up another Just Giving donation page in memory of my wife and to support the Sepsis Trust UK. So in memory of my wife I would like to donate 15% commission on all Norwex sales from 1st January 2019 until 31stMarch 2019. I will put the donation page on my business web site and list all people that have supported me and bought items from Norwex.
