National 3 peaks 24 hour challenge · 14 May 2012

We're dedicated to beating blood cancer. We fund research and support those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. The day we beat blood cancer is now in sight and our researchers are determined to finish the job.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On September 21st 2012, a team of friends from Brinklow Football Club will take on the challenge of climbing the 3 highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours - The "National 3 Peaks Challenge". Driving to Fort William ready to tackle Ben Nevis at approx 4pm on Friday 21st we aim to do Ben Nevis in 5 hours before driving through the night to Scafell Pike in the Lake district which we aim to complete in 4 hours. The final drive is then on to Snowdon which we also aim to do in 4 hours, finishing all 3 within the 24 hour target. Our chosen charity is Leukaemia Research, mainly because my wife Jan was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia 3 years ago and is just one of the many people who are affected by the various types of this disease. We are doing our bit to help improve the research of care and treatments and give hope to all those affected.Thank you for any donation you can make.
