The 6 local independent candidates in the Winton, Millway, St Mary's and Charlton wards of Andover in Hampshire have all decided to temporarily suspend their election campaign so that their fighting funds can be sent across to help the disaster in Nepal appeal. The needs of these people at this moment in time we believe is far greater than the need of an election campaign. The money we were going to spend on leaflets will now be sent directly to the Red Cross appeal. Russell, Alex, Richard, Steve, Mick and Tony will be going door to door in our wards this weekend to collect clothes, cooking utensils and cash to help the Nepal appeal. Donations of cash or clothes can be dropped off at Broadway Garage Andover. Anyone who would like to volunteer their help can contact Steve or Tony on 01264 352489. All donations or help are most welcome.
