Hi there, and thank-you for taking the time to visit our ‘Just Giving’ page!
We’re a group of friends and colleagues based in Yeovil, Somerset, who are passionate about charity. This time around, we’re raising money for a very special cause; The Grand Appeal.
This fantastic initiative was created by Bristol's Children's Hospital to raise money for the vital treatment of sick children from Bristol, the South West and beyond.
Bristol Children's Hospital is one of the UK's leading children Hospitals, treating over 100,000 patients every year from across the region with life-threatening illnesses and injuries, and serving as the paediatric intensive care centre for the whole of the South West. The hospital is an international specialist centre of excellence for a range of services including neurosurgery, burns, cardiac, leukaemia and bone marrow transplants.
On Saturday the 2nd of September, our dedicated team from Toolstream Ltd & Powerbox are taking part in the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, which comprises 3 separate climbs over a gruelling 24.4-mile course. Featuring a wide range of terrain that includes a mixture of altitudes, temperatures and conditions, we’re looking to complete this challenge within 12 hours, starting as the sun comes up and pushing ourselves to register the quickest time possible.
Our Team consists of: Virginia Allen, Raissa Verpalen, Xenia Divakova, Sammie Vorn, Danielle White, Daniel Dawes, Matt Weston, Daniel West, Jonnie Rice, Chris Guppy and Dan Phillips.
With your help of a donation we can save the lives of sick children, provide vital care for the terminally-ill and help to fund pioneering medical equipment which could literally be the difference between life and death.
