I am fundraising for Restless Development! I will be going on a 11 week project in Uganda in February 2020, with the aim to help create a greater awareness about sexual health issues within a rural Ugandan community. I decided to take part in this life changing opportunity as I have a passion for helping others and wanted to do something meaningful during my gap year. I believe this trip will be a journey of personal development and will give me invaluable experiences volunteering internationally. 

Restless Development is a leading international development charity that works with young people across Africa and Asia to make lasting change in their communities and countries. They have trained, inspired and helped more than seven million young people by giving them a voice, employment skills, health education, and helping them to become leaders in preventing and solving the world’s challenges. My place on the programme is already paid for - visas, flights, travels and medical insurance, medication, vaccines, food, everything! This just giving page is because Restless Development believes in young people helping others less fortunate than themselves to give them life changing opportunities through the work they do. All the money raised will go to Restless development to continue changing millions of young people's lives globally. 

I'll be taking part in a number of different activities to raise money, for example a 24 hour sponsored silence, car boot sale and many other activities. If you have any suggestions of other fundraising ideas they would be warmly welcomed!
