Story

As many of you know, I'm proud to come from Barra - a remote but beautiful island in the Outer Hebrides.

Two years ago,  14 year old Eilidh McLeod from Barra was tragically killed at the Ariane Grande concert in Manchester.

The Eilidh McLeod Trust was set up with the twin aims of establishing a permanent memorial to Eilidh and developing young people through Eilidh's passion of music.

The Trust has been great comfort to Eilidh's family, knowing her life will leave a positive legacy.

The Barrathon is a half marathon round Barra.  It's a brutally tough half  but is a fantastic event and strongly supported by the local community, including local pipers like Eilidh.

I run it every year, but this is the first year since the Trust was set up so it seems appopriate to ask for your support.  I have no particular target, small donations are encouraged just to show your support.  Anything is appreciated.

Thanks for listening.

Tosh
