Dove House Hospice provides specialist care in Hull and East Yorkshire to adults with life limiting illnesses. With the patient and their family at the centre of the hospice's care, a range of services are provided to ensure each patient gets the right support and care they need.

The team from Towergate Hull are taking on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challange to raise funds for Dove House Hospice.

The members of the team are Sarah Holliday, Denise Tyler, Tracey Mann, Gillian Gartland, Richard Walmsley, Chris Shaw, Gary Casey & Steve Eastwood.

The peaks form part of the Pennine range, and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

The challenge involves walking 24.5 miles and climbing a total of 2142 metres in under 12 hours. The starting peak is  Pen Y Ghent (691 metres) , moving on to Whernside (728 metres) and finishing with Ingleborough  (723 metres). 

Dove House Hospice are a chairty providing care for patients with Cancer, Neurological illnesses, Heart Diseases, Respiratory Diseases, HIV/AIDS and many other illnesses.  There care incorporates physical, social, psychological and spiritual support delivered by a multi-professional team.   

Funds raised in the local community are vital to maintain their facilities and the care they give.
