Imagine being told your toddler you thought was healthy, but perhaps slow to progress, in fact had a rare and devastating disability that would leave them needing lifelong 24/7 care. Rett syndrome changes lives irrevocably. With your support Rett UK is there from the beginning. #ToKnowHerIsToLoveHer

Story

Our little girl is now 8 years old and improving all the time...you will all know that over the years Paul and I try our hardest to raise as much money as possible to fund vital research in Jasmine's condition...Retts Syndrome.... This is a neurological disorder that any day could change Jasmines state of health, leaving her with many disabilities... A cure is out there and every day they grow closer to helping girls with Retts find a cure. Not only to stop them deterioring but maybe one day reverse the brain damage and ...who knows... Every year Paul and I run a veteran football tournament, charity balls, various sport challenges to raise money. A  wonderful group of friends and family support us and whom we could not do it without...all because they think the world of Jazz..This is one of the biggest challenges yet, Paul and I are training to run 26.2 miles, the Belfast Marathon on May2nd....We ache from every limb and have aged 10 years, through the gruelling training schedule, but we are determined to cross that finish line, for Jazz....every penny raised will be sent to Rett syndrome to fund that vital research...we chose this marathon as 100% of proceeds go to charity and not event organisers... every penny counts and will help our Jazz.... we would be so grateful for your support x x
