On Sunday 15th March 2020, Will and I ran our first half marathon to raise money for the Young Adult Clinic at the Oxford Kidney Unit.
For obvious reasons didn’t run in Bath but did our own half in Bampton. Thanks to those who supported us on our route today and also to all of you who have sent good wishes and kindly donated.
Oxford Young Adult Clinic is a unique community-based service set up to help 16-30 year olds in the Thames Valley region who suffer from kidney failure. The objectives of the clinic are to reduce isolation, help facilitate acceptance of dialysis or transplantation, reduce denial and make life saving organ transplants last for many years.
