Grand Canyon Trek · 8 March 2016 to 15 March 2016 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Claire’s family & friends will be joining the fight against dementia by raising funds for the Alzheimer’s society.

Various events are underway and planned including:

Julia Kinloch is walking 100km across the Pyrenees on the 13th July
Rachel and Ashley Ward are hosting the “Forget Me Not” dinner and auction at Wildwood golf club, Cranleigh in November.
Alastair & Claudia Kinloch Cortés are organising a Christmas raffle and drinks party
John & Dani Kinloch are performing and setting up a benefit concert in September
Harriet, Rachel and Alastair will be trekking the magnificent Grand Canyon in March.

Our aim is to raise over £10,000 for the Alzheimer’s Society.

We are raising funds for the UK’s leading dementia charity because Claire, our mother or grandmother, has the condition.

It’s great to know that every penny we raise will help to support people to live well with dementia today and fund research to find a cure for tomorrow.

Family and Friends, if you can contribute by either putting on or supporting an event we would be very pleased to hear from you!

Please also consider contributing via this site, JustGiving. It is simple, fast and totally secure.

A big thank you to everyone who has supported us with our fund raising. We recently completed our trek in the Grand Canyon. It was an amazing experience, meeting wonderful people touched by this disease in many different ways, seeing fantastic sights, challenging ourselves to achieve our goals, and raising a great deal of money for this cause. Please continue to give if you feel you can.
