We’re supporting Phyllis Tuckwell for our friend James

Our good friend James died in July 2023 as a result of motor neurone disease. Phyllis Tuckwell’s wonderful staff and volunteers provided James with the care and practical support he needed to be able to live at home through all stages of his MND.  But to continue to provide their services Phyllis Tuckwell need to raise over £25,000 per day.

We raised £55,780

Inspired by James, 51 of us in 17 teams of 3 took on an Olympic relay triathlon in September 2023 - each doing our bit - swimming 1.5km or cycling 42km or running 10km.  We raised £40,000 (including gift aid) from the triathlon and, with others, we raised a total of £55,780 from our linked Grand Challenge activities.
