Music has always played a big part in Davids life, from playing in the school band to dance orchestras in the 70's, jazz quartets in the 80's and 90's to the last 20 years as the bandleader for Silver Sax - a 10 piece band with 6 saxophones and a rhythm section and singer! More recently as a member of the Black Cat Boogie 1950's style rock n roll band - definitely a new departure but one which he really enjoyed.

Music has been an escape from the stresses and strains of every day life, from school to work to family life, all could be sorted by an hour or two lost in the enjoyment of creating beautiful sound.

David always felt that all children should be given the opportunity to benefit from music making. Sadly in the UK this is not always possible and charities like this one help to address this issue.
