The Williams Syndrome Foundation was formed in 1980 and is run by parents for parents of children with this rare condition which causes heart and kidney problems and learning difficulties. It desperately needs funds to finance its ambitious research and family support programmes which include national conventions and regional meetings.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

My son Callum was diagnosed with Williams Syndrome, a rare genetic condition, 6 years ago when he was aged 2. Families affected by Williams Syndrome are widely spread across the UK and receive vital advice and support from the Williams Syndrome Foundation (http://www.williams-syndrome.org.uk/).

On 24th March 2012, Claire and Val, Callum's godmothers, and Marivi, our close friend, will cycle with me on two tandems around the Isle of Cumbrae to raise money for the Williams Syndrome Foundation. We are all tandem novices!

The four of us, and Callum, would be very grateful for any donations that you would like to give to support the Foundation's work in helping families like ours.

Many thanks from us all.
