St Peter's Hospice is Bristol's ONLY adult hospice caring for local people with life-limiting illnesses. Our commitment is to improve the quality of life of patients while extending care and support to their families and loved ones.All of our care is provided free of charge, but it costs us around £20,000 a day to provide that care. For most of this money we rely on Gifts in Wills, donations, fundraising and our shops.

We believe that patients should be treated with dignity and compassion, and be close to those they love, especially during their final days and hours.

That's why we've launched our Room to Care Appeal, to develop our Inpatient Unit to meet the complex needs of our patients in the 21st Century.

Developing the Inpatient Unit will allow us to care for 6,250 patients over the next 20 years, and will include:

Private enlarged patient bedrooms - all with a private garden terrace
Modern bathrooms - all ensuite to patient rooms
Improved nursing visibility
More rooms with bariatric facilities
